July 24th - Fiesta Days!

Spanish Fork's big holiday is Pioneer Day - July 24th! We had a great time at the Carnival and the Parade. We had a BBQ at Kris and Katie's that night, and the kids had a great time on the trampoline with the sprinkler... here are some cute pics!

Brynn, Mary, Marlee, Peyton and Me on the "scary" ride - hey it did make your stomach drop! I was proud of Brynn and Peyton for going on it. Peyton got a little scared, but she was a trooper. Brynn said it made her stomach feel "a little sick".

Lucy is 3!

I can't believe my little Lucy is 3! She turned 3 on July 16th, and we tried to have it be a special day, especially considering that Kelsey so recently joined us. On her actual birthday she got to take her cousin Peyton and friend Emma to see Wall*e. They thought it was fun to go to the movies and get treats, but the movie didn't really keep their attention. On Sunday we had the family over for dinner, cake, and presents - Lucy seemed to enjoy being the center of attention. Despite Lucy's fiesty attitude, she really is sweet and a lot of fun. I am so grateful that she is my daughter - I love Lucy!

Kelsey Jean

Yes, our new little girl - Kelsey Jean - finally joined our family. I know it has taken me awhile to post this (she is exactly a week old), but I was having some technical difficulties with my computer. Anyway, Kelsey was born July 5, 2008 at 11:06 in the morning. She weighed 8lbs 110z (an excuse for why I was so huge!) and is a very sweet baby. Her sisters have been great with her, and we are all adjusting very well to our new addition.

May is a busy month full of end of the year activities. Last week was Mary's school choir concert. She did a great job. This week was Brynn's dance recital. She was an awesome "cat" and for sure had the best "tail wag" or booty shake as we like to call it. She was very cute.

Spring Break 2008

Kacy had to go to West Virgina for a few days at the beginning of the week, but we were able to spend Thursday through Sunday at Corey, Jessica, and Colin's house in Hurricane, Utah. We had a great weekend swimming, playing, and getting to know "baby Colin" better. This is a picture of Mary, Colin, Brynn, and Lucy and Corey and Jessica's house.

Brynn and "baby Colin". The girls loved holding and playing with Colin. One day Lucy said "There is a very cute baby under that blanket" when Colin was sleeping in his carseat. He is a very cute and fun baby.

Football Season Already?

Yes, I am officially a "blogger", so I thought I'd share with you our trip to BYU's spring scrimmage. The starbursts and licorice were the most exciting parts of the game for the girls, but they really loved getting the Y painted on their faces ahead of time!
